Quebec premier’s fleur-de-lis poppy pin generates ‘flood’ of complaints from veterans

Her and the political party that she is leader of does not respect Canada, so why would it be surprising to anyone when Pauline Marois shows disrespect for Canadian men and women who fought and gave their lives for Canada and Quebec when she previously took down the Canadian flag from the Quebec legislature offices.

Her actions speak volumes about her lack of character and respect for this country of Canada.

The needs of all citizens outweigh the political desires of career unionist leaders and political party leaders.

Unions today must be regulated the same as businesses are and they must provide full and transparent disclosure of their revenues and how they spend their funds along with annual public disclosure of the salaries of all union leaders over $100,000.

What can Toronto city council do to curb gun violence?
NOTHING as it is up to our justice system and the judges to stop this never ending slap on the wrist sentencing and the province and federal governments to amended the criminal code to include those aged 13 to 18 as adults when such individuals have been convicted of any crimes.

Eliminate the young offenders act now and any individual charged with a criminal code violation that involves the possession or use of a firearm or knife upon conviction receives a mandatory 5 years of service of hard labour within the Canadian armed forces for any such first offence for those between the ages of 13 to 21 and for those over the age of 21 a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years military service without any possibility of parole. UN observers see no evidence of massacre in Tremseh, Syria

It is a civil war and has been from the very beginning.
Syria at one time was part of the Turkish Ottoman Empire and has a history of political turbulence due to the fact that it has been repeatedly politically exploited over the centuries by western and eastern governments and now by self anointed de facto groups that the media continually refers to as the opposition albeit UNELECTED and all civilian killings continually blamed on the government. Canada swooped in to freeze billions in Arab Spring assets: documents

Any country with laws that allow bureaucrats to seize or freeze its own citizen’s bank accounts, and other assets is a dictatorial regime and a thief under the guise of sanctioned democracy by elected criminals protected by unelected judges and an opened eyed justice system for political gain. The Canadian Press July 15, 2012 Peter Clarke

NOTE This money, property or asset was in effect stolen by Canadian officials and banks on allegations, not proven in any Canadian or International Court of law, by allegedly corrupt officials and others.

What is to prevent these unelected bureaucrats from alleging that Canadian citizens who do not support the government in power at any given time and are allegedly corrupt through hearsay allegations and unproven in a court of law from stealing your bank account, house, RRSP or private pension funds?

Perhaps we should not be treating this theft so lightly as it could quite easily happen to one of us here in Canada. July 15, Peter Clarke

Syria opposition rifts give world excuse not to act

Not one legal resident citizen of Syria voted for this self anointed de fact group, Syria’s opposition, as continuously refereed to by the media.

Who are the behind the scene Puppet Masters and Wire Pullers attempting to dictate a one sided ceasefire to out the duly elected government of Syria?

Why is it that these biased and unconfirmed propaganda reports, dictated to the world’s media by activists and revolutionaries, relating to any mounting violence are always committed solely be Syrian government forces?

No blame placed on the revolutionary military bureau, set up by the unelected De facto self anointed revolutionary Syrian National Council members or the revolutionary free Syrian army deserters, to coordinate the revolutionary armed opposition to the legitimate government in power and who are supported and receiving arms from the USA and other western governments!

For such deception and treasonous acts under the name of an unelected opposition, the exiled revolutionary council and the Syrian free army deserters are all subject to and must be held accountable and punishable by military under international law for any of these traitorous or terrorist actions and killings of civilians!

Anyone who understands history realizes that the primary goal of every revolution or civil war is that of gaining power as power is considered the crucial target of all revolutionary's.

The United Nations charter states that nothing contained in the present Charter shall authorize the United Nations to intervene in matters which are essentially within the domestic jurisdiction of any state or shall require the Members to submit such matters to settlement under the present Charter.

The civil war in Syria is definitely under the domestic jurisdiction of the state of Syria and is a struggle for power within Syria between Islamists, Shia, Sunni Muslims and secularists tribes urged on by those living in exile who are haggling over the shape of a post-Assad Syria while being supported and armed by western governments. Why?

The Mayor and all drivers are by law required to stay 2 metres back from a bus door that is OPEN and all drivers are permitted to move their vehicle passed a set of closed doors up to the next set of street car doors that are OPEN!

This TTC driver needs to be disciplined, re instructed and tested before allowed back on the job as a qualified passenger bus driver.

Afternoon shooting in Toronto's Little Italy leaves one person dead

Toronto the Good has drifted into a city of the Bad, Ugly, Gangs, Drugs, Guns, Violence and Lawless Protesters and We Let it Happen to Us.

Partially due to the fact that our politicians have allowed UN elected bureaucrats and technocrats into positions of setting policy based, on their reasons and speech, without any directly elected accountability or authority from the citizenship at large.

For example, the provincial government’s appointed Chair of the Toronto Police Service Board a Mr. Mr. Alok Mukherjee during the lawlessness on the streets of Toronto during past G8  declared to the citizen and corporate taxpaying voters that he concerned was far more interest with United Nations rules relating to “Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners,” than he and his fellow members were with the masked malcontent anarchist protesters who had ignored our Canadian laws of civil society and began burning police cars, smashing store windows, damaging private and public property?

He should have been replaced then by the premier of our province. His police chief to this day continues to be under the impression and tell the public that Toronto does not have a gang problem. The chief of police in Toronto should also be replaced and the sooner the better for all Torontonians.
We need politicians who can lead, take responsibility and uphold the laws of our civil society. We no longer can afford politicians who usurp their rights to special interest groups or behind the scenes wire pullers to make decisions on behalf of the voters to UN elected or appointed officials be they technocrats and bureaucrats. What is required are amendments to traffic laws that defines and includes bikes, e bikes, and bicycles as a VEHICLE and treats all users as equals under traffic laws.

Councillors and all political parties should be demanding that bikes, e bikes, bicycles be classed and defined as a VEHICLE under all laws similar to a motorcycle if they honestly want to accomplish respect for roadways, highways, city streets and country roads by all users on an equal footing.

Also, the mandatory wearing of a bike safety helmet regardless of the person age for all bike riders, e bikes, cyclists, etc. when peddling or otherwise on public roadways, city streets, country roads and highways.

Allowing student protests to continue threatens Quebec democracy

From the beginning this protest was a colossal error in judgement by students, unions its federation of university students and the French student group

The protesters latest premeditated act of using Nazi salutes and symbols to mock police was supported and condoned by the province's federation of university students up until that group was forced to make a half hearted apology in the form of blaming such actions on an error in judgement.

The continued disgruntled and banditry actions by lawless student street protests, by attempted mob rule is the greatest enemies of a civilized society, now represent a non ballot box political struggle between two ideologies.

Decisions and policies that have seen and been far more concerned with the well being and life of animals, birds and the bees, rather than human life and the individuals responsibility within our fragile democratic civil society.

These unelected De facto elements within our democratic society are supported, financed and backed by special interest groups, unions and political parties of all stripes.

The fact that they are unelected yet purport to be representatives of the masses in order to protect them should this new world order as they collectively envisioned collapse and once again be destroyed as was the tower of Babel.

These latest shootings at one of Toronto's major tourists attractions and shopping malls highlights a city and society that is out of control thanks to no one else but ourselves.

Our right to vote is another democratic obligation the people has a requirement to do like jury duty, compulsory schooling, driver’s licenses and paying our taxes.

The Mayor’s point about citizen participation was a very valid one, as some 809,587 eligible Toronto voters did not even bother to take the time to vote.

A mere 18,136 more Torontonians voted than those who did not! Voting should be declared "civic duty" or an affirmative citizen obligation.

No longer can we as a democratic society allow such barbaric behaviour to play itself out within our subways, malls, schools and on our streets.

Both the gunman and his intended victim are equally blamable along with their friends, associates and families for covering up and condoning the illegal activates of both these individuals. As such they are just as responsible because of their individual failure to alert the police and others about these two dangerous and disrespectful selfish individuals.

We as a people should be mourning the decay of our civil society and start demanding action and punishment for all those remotely connect with such criminal behaviour.

No longer can we afford the luxury of complacency by allowing unelected individuals to occupy the chairs of decision making.

There Credit Rating was just downgraded because of their past spending and a projected $10.8 Billion Debt.

These career politicians just do not get it.
The government’s credit rating was downgraded and recently the premier stated that the New Brunswick government cannot afford to let up on its spending restraint yet today they now announced $4.3 million a year in new spending for yet another socialistic annual cost for an eye care and dental program for children of low-income families.

The province’s debt is expected to reach $10.8 billion by the end of the fiscal year. You can sure tell that politicians cannot resist the urge to spend the taxpayer’s money as if it was their own.

They cut the taxpayers deficit in half to $183 million and now jump back on the annual spending spree.

Wake up taxpayers as you cannot afford to carry the 50% of New Brunswickers who pay no provincial and no federal income taxes. CBC June 12, 2012 Peter Clarke

Fitch downgrades 18 Spanish banks, bond yield hits euro-era high

Best we keep our eyes her at home on Canadian banks and never mind Spain, Italy and Greece as our Canadian banks perhaps are already over-invested in Euro bonds and Spanish banks etc.
These bankers along with career politicians within and outside of the European union are on a financially dangerous venture of buying time which could result with a total collapse of the European banking system altogether.
By centralizing all bank assets and liabilities from member states within the euro zone into a political too big to fail banking system could be that last straw for the Euro as a currency in the near future.
For now they have forestalled the inevitable bankruptcy of Spain’s national banking system with this recap of the Spanish banking system by a paper exchange of bonds for stock to alter the mix of debt and equity financing without changing the total amount of capital known as recapitalization in an effort to avoid bankruptcy.
Now the total unsustainable government and banking debts of Spain, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Ireland and France are all tied together and if it fails they all go bankrupt. Toronto Star June 12, 2012 Peter Clarke
Toronto plastic bag ban: Other cities took more time before approving bans

The Production and thus Sales of Plastic Bags in Canada is stipulated under Section 92 of Our Constitution Act.
As such the majority of issues relating to plastic bags fall under provincial jurisdiction and not under the city of Toronto Act and in my opinion, along with that of many others, while city council has the ability to regulate waste disposal, recycling and waste management it does NOT have the authority to ban or prohibit the sale of plastic in bags or any other form. Plastic bag ban: Mayor Rob Ford says lawsuit coming

Councillor Shiner for his lack of due diligence has shown all voters that he comes from the same backstabbing political cloth as councillor Stintz.

In my opinion council had no legal right to prohibit retailers from giving out or selling any plastic shopping bags or ban plastic shopping bags outright without proper and prior consultation and due diligence on behalf of all Torontonians and businesses.
Shiner's motion was not at all thought through, had no legal opinion, no consultation with the taxpayers or consideration and study by major retailers and business concerning any economic effects on the city and local industries that keep this city afloat with their tax dollars.
The Mayor’s point about citizen participation was a valid one. In the 2010 Toronto election 809,587 eligible voters did not take the time to vote. A mere 18,136 more Torontonians voted than those who did not!
Voting should be declared "civic duty" or an affirmative citizen obligation. Our right to vote is another democratic obligation the people has a requirement to do like jury duty, compulsory schooling, driver’s licenses and paying our taxes. Toronto Star Jun 11, 2012 9:09 AM Peter Clarke

28 arrested at Montreal’s Grand Prix protests

These disgruntled and banditry of lawless student street protests, by attempted mob rule is the greatest enemies of a civilized society, now represent a non ballot box political struggle between two ideologies.
One  a student and union style utopia of Maoist entitlement socialism through class warfare and the other a democracy of individuals through a market system of supply, demand and affordability within one’s own desires, means and responsibilities.

Toronto plastic bag ban: Mayor Rob Ford says ‘it’s the people’s fault’
The Mayor has a Valid Point.
In the 2010 Toronto election 809,587 eligible voters did not take the time to vote. A mere 18,136 more Torontonians voted than those who did not!
50% of Torontonians DID NOT exercise that right and civic duty and 34% of Torontonians continue to pay no provincial or federal income tax. In a democracy every citizen has an obligation to pay his or her fair share of taxes along with attending at the voting booth.

Voting should be declared "civic duty" or an affirmative citizen obligation. Our right to vote is another democratic obligation the people has a requirement to do like jury duty, compulsory schooling, driver’s licenses and paying our taxes.

There is more wisdom in the common sense of the people than that of the government and we as individuals have already consented to laws that are more onerous, time consuming and intrusive than a citizen’s occasional mandatory trip to a polling station.

Failure to attend at a polling booth on election days should result not in fines or taxes, but rather the denial of government services and benefits, such as affordable housing, welfare, unemployment or the ability to obtain a driver’s licenses, pass ports and health cards.Toronto Star Jun 10, 2012 8:39 AM

After the next federal election the NDP could end up behind the green party!

The NDP is a party of Socialists, Maoists, Free Market Haters, Anarchists and Separatists supported and financed largely by union dues demanded by union leaders.

Do all these card carrying members of the NDP party truly believe by employing the heavy hand of governments at all levels and using radical socialist movements will actually protect our environment, provide free university tuitions, increase welfare hand outs, actually increase non government employment or improve poverty at a faster rate than a free market system has over the past 100 years?

The NDP and socialism is about carrying on the same kind of industrialism and economic expansionism that a free market system requires and thus shall simply slice off enough of the economic growth to provide better social services for would be elite leaders of its working-class union members.

It has no answer to industrialism or to technology and it does not have the answer to the fundamental problems of industrial production and technological advancement.

Neither can the NDP’s platform of socialism solve the critical problems of the 21st or coming 22nd century and would NOT put an end to economic disparity, it would however greatly aggravate it.

Analysis: G7 must look beyond China for euro zone rescuer

The survival of the Euro and the Euro zone rests with Germany and the other EU countries saying goodbye to Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland.

Let's keep in mind that the constitution of the EU constitution, as amended under the European Treaties, starts with His Majesty the King of the Belgians!

The EU, similar to other ultra nationalistic European governments in the past that had no time for a parliamentary democracy, has accepted undemocratic constitutional means in determining a method for a united Europe.

As such the European Union is nothing more than an autocratic form of government in keeping the that type's and forms of government's throughout Europe over the centuries that unfortunately still exist today.

Personal issue blamed in Eaton Centre gun rampage as man charged with murder

We the taxpaying, nonvoting and voting public have allowed Canada, our communities and cities, to disintegrate into morally disgusting lifestyles of arrogance, handouts for non existing entitlements, disrespect for human life and law and order, perversion and a Hollywood overfed sexual and drug culture immorality.

We have permitted non elected bureaucrats and technocrats to be appointed into positions of setting policy based, on their reasons and speech, without any directly elected accountability or authority from the citizenship at large.

Their policies have revolved around deciding for us the cradle to grave decisions that once were democratically reserved solely for families and individuals.

The fact that the are unelected yet purport to be representatives of the masses in order to protect themselves should this new world order as they collectively envisioned collapse and once again be destroyed as was the tower of Babel.

This weekend's shootings at one of Toronto's major tourists attractions and shopping malls highlight a city and society that is out of control of the politicians, police and law abiding citizens.

Syrian President Assad on Houla massacre: ‘Not even monsters’ would have carried out killings
The unlawful use of violence against persons or property in order to coerce or intimidate a government or the civilian population in furtherance of political or social objectives is legally defined as Domestic Terrorism.

The self anointed De facto members of the SNC boycotted the ballot boxes in Syria on May 7, 2012.

The Syrian revolutionary military bureau, headquartered in Turkey and France, comprised of unelected self anointed individuals to specifically coordinate the armed opposition to the legitimate government in power, is directly responsible and must be held accountable for the ongoing premeditated use of car bombs, the Houla and other massacres throughout Syria by Islamist radical warring tribes outside and inside of Syria.

The primary goal of all unelected and self anointed De facto groups is for power by unlawful criminal acts of domestic terrorism.

Syrian security forces who deserted from the military known as the Free Syrian Army supporting the De facto self anointed revolutionary unelected Syrian National Council members along with radical Islamists are the ones that must be brought to justice for such crimes against humanity and many other such domestic terrorists acts that they have been committing throughout Syria during this past year.

Nothing in the United Nations charter authorizes its members to intervene in matters which are essentially within the domestic jurisdiction of any state and that includes attempts of lawless mob rule to overthrow any duly elected power constitutionally linked to a single political movement under internationally laws is a criminal act of aggression and crime against humanity.

Canada is democratic civil society of democracy that depends on all citizens who attain legal age make a commitment to the ballot box.

Gangs of masked hooligan student union protester and their lawless attempts at taking the rights away from other students to an education through storming and disrupting university classes is an unlawful and criminal act of violence against students and property and disrespect for the rights of society as a whole that must be harshly dealt with by our legislature and justice system.

The ongoing students anti social disobedient behavior are a punishable offense under our democratic laws and should be dealt with by using the full force of punishment under the justice system.

Arab ministers to discuss "toothless" Syria mission

Self Anointed Opposition De Facto Groups of the SNC and FSA Responsible for Terrorists Bombing Attacks Against Unarmed Syrian Children and Women?

The so called Syrian opposition is made up of armed forces deserters, Syrian exile members of the de facto groups like the SNC (Syrian national council), FSA (free Syrian army) and non Syrian fanatic extremists for a free Palestine along with the Muslim brotherhood for Sharia law and all are doing battle against the Assad regime and the Syrian people.

Recent bombings in Damascus have the finger print tactics of continually used by al- Qaeda, fundamentalist Sunni Muslim terrorists groups and others from throughout the region in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Egypt and Jordan.

How can the Canada, the USA and other western powers support such radical extremists and fanatical religious non elected but self anointed individuals and armed forces deserters and terrorists who call themselves the opposition and then proceed to intentionally detonate 10 kilos of highly flammable explosives in the centre of Damascus next to a primary school, shops and a mosque?

The Turkey based and self anointed commander of these Syrian army deserters a Colonel Riad al-Asaad recently stated to the world that "All operations against the Syrian regime are to be stopped except in a situation of self defense."

The western media for propaganda reasons continually refers to this non democratic and self appointed De facto group of exiles, who reside outside of Syria in Turkey and France, as the opposition and would have the world believe that the SNC and FSA was formed purely for the protection of the unarmed citizens of Syrian and its resources.

These armed protester’s, rebels, insurgents, army deserters and terrorists under the banner of an opposition are killing people as are Syrian government forces who continually claim that Syria is fighting Islamist militants steered from abroad.

Maybe the world does not like it but it is a Syrian domestic civil war under the jurisdiction of the state. The Syrian people from both sides fighting within Syria without outside intervening by western powers, pundits, academic experts or the United Nations for their own political and economic interests must decide the outcome.

However it remains my position that this civil war in Syria is definitely under the domestic jurisdiction of the state of Syria and as such it is time that France, Turkey, USA, Britain, Canada, Libya, Egypt, Iran, the displaced Palestine's fighters and all others to butt out of the internal domestic affairs of Syria or attempt to legitimize the SNC as the official opposition of the Republic of Syria.

If the regime is doomed then the Republic of Syria along with its constitution and all the legal citizens of Syria will once again be controlled by outside interests and the establishment of Sharia law as most likely will be the case in Libya and Egypt with more Middle Eastern countries to soon follow."

Who are The Puppet Masters Now in Control of Libyan Resources?

Who installed these individuals as the interim puppet National Transitional Council and leader Mustafa Abdel-Jalil, for the Libyan people?

Who is his and their puppet master?

What does France, Italy, Germany, England and the USA hope to achieve by replacing the former regime of Libya with a totalitarian oriented and unelected puppet administration that has ties to the previous Libyan Idris monarchy, which itself was overthrown by a bloodless revolution?

Facts are that Libya exports 80% of its Oil and is Africa’s largest exporter of oil of approximately 1.7 million tons a day to Italy (32%), Germany (14%), France (10%), USA (5%) and China (10%). PeterClarke October 22, 2011,

Libya's Gaddafi killed by bullet in stomach: doctor

In the end Gaddafi was captured, wounded, arrested and murdered by Muslim rebel revolutionary extremists, supported by NATO in protecting OIL, Not people and for a new world order, a new world order of social justice that does not respect or involve international rules of law or proof of guilt by a legal judicial proceeding.

Welcome to the Muslim style of French revolution, arising from the Arab spring for democracy and freedoms by mob rule and lawlessness by Muslim revolutionary rebel extremists and their agenda for Libya by subjugating people to barbaric mob rules. PeterClarke Fri, 21 Oct, 2011

Gaddafi's death - who pulled the trigger?

Libya’s rebel revolutionaries and the puppet National Transitional Council (NTC) are all equally responsible for starting their own regimes with blood on their hands, similar to the regime it now replaces.

A coward and on the run from justice captured, wounded and unable to run any longer from a legal day of justice through a civil reckoning with democracy.

One does not doubt talked about ample proof of his many atrocities, acts of terrorism and criminal acts committed on his own people, but now because of his murder by those seeking freedom, democracy and legal justice the factual proof of guilt and conviction unfortunately shall remain unproven in an international or national criminal court of law.

Welcome to the Muslim style of French revolution, arising from the Arab spring. With their new world order for social justice, democracy and a freedom that does not involve the rule of law, proof of guilt by a legal judicial proceeding or trial but mob rule and lawlessness by Muslim revolutionary rebel extremists agenda for Libya and its subjugated people to barbaric mob rules. Upset about the Occupy Wall Street protests? Blame Canada

Most left leaning academia like Hedges are left wing ideologists and hold the believe, that democracy of the free market system and capitalism is dysfunctional and has no proper competition with reasonable rules, but what are his alternative suggestions for proper completion and reasonable rules that are required under his ideals and theories of spiritual enlightenment for a Utopian collective community based on wealth distribution?

On a pragmatic and philosophical ground the important point is that the pursuit of happiness is on an individual basis, not a collective right, as my dreams are different from yours and someone else’s is completely different from both of ours.

For example, the political holy grail of progressive socialized liberalism and some feminists is that government should control and taxpayers should fund child care and day care.

Others hold the opinion that it is not the children who require liberating from the family but perhaps the mother should be liberated from the child.

The responsibility for sheltering, raising, feeding and clothing is the direct responsibility of those who decide to conceive or adopt a child.

Government run hand out programs and mass social herding formula for housing, rent, child care and unsustainable subsidies or socialism/communism is not the answer as history has shown.

It is however a worldwide failure and has done nothing other than create ghettos of segregated warehouses of poor people living in misery.

For myself I am of the opinion that any fair minded individual would not dispute the political reality that today the core agenda of domestic social liberalism relates to the support for a welfare state, abortion and the racial identity politics of multiculturalism based redistribution of wealth through class warfare.

Any mischief, based on an excessive desire to acquire and possess more than what one needs or even deserves and especially with respect to material wealth, did not originate from nor is it limited to that of the Wall Street or Bay Street of the world.

It all began with the greed of Union leaders as well as their members be it teachers, hospital workers, police, bureaucrats etc. along with politicians and corporations and the shareholders of publicity traded companies. Such firms and organizations also represent companies in the resource development sector for green energy solutions and other special interest groups publicly traded around the globe.

Because of our now excessive and numerous government regulations and attempts to micromanage the free enterprise system through government controls and outright nationalizations of industries or corporations combined with excess wage, benefit and pension demands by all guilty parties businesses go to China, India, South America and other countries around the world to find a less expensive workforce and less government.

It is not only the fathers that are supposed to guide their youth but the mothers, fathers and grand parents of their own offspring’s that are directly responsible and for the youth of today.

Unfortunately the leaders today, be they politicians or union leaders, seem far more concerned with raising political donations or union dues through new members for their own re elections and play fast and furious with our money for their own personal success and prosperity at the expense of the those who actual pay taxes or union dues.

It is not only individuals like Hughes who feel they are entitled to receive hand outs from others or the wealthy, its politicians, academia, artists, academics, students, bureaucrats, corporations, unions, special interest groups, it`s your neighbours and those that pay little or no federal income taxes all of whom fanatically believe they are entitled to their personal entitlements at other peoples expense. Follow up 5 Facts about the Wealthiest 1 Percent

For Mike B and others as I agree with you that greed has a very warped sense of reality, but greed itself drives passive people.

However, the best remedy is for all citizens to educate themselves as the ones who will master the complexities of finances in the like of securitization, credit default swaps, collateralized debt obligation and monetization of debt etc. inevitably shall control and own the political power be it under Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Fascism or Maoism.

Capitalism is the only system that freely allows all people the ability to use their own discretion as opposed to communism or collectives of socialism that controls all individual discretion of society for the so called overall good of society itself.

The market failed because of government legislation and regulations, Tarp *supported by both political parties*, bailout programs of Obama, credit default swaps, collateralized debt obligations all complexities of the over sized bureaucratic government and not any of the ideologies you spout.

Has the government taken any responsibility for the market failure or have they all not been "blame-passers" who never take responsibility or come to grips with their personal refusals to be held accountable for their decisions and actions?

In Russia the communists Marxists based economic system of reconstructing the entire economy from small farms into large farms and the forced transformation of industry into a government run owned and operated production of industries for the manufacturing d services for the masses and goods for the military through forced labour and concentration camps as an essential part of the soviet totalitarian socialized communist system. 5 Facts about the Wealthiest 1 Percent

The first disparity here that must be noted is that there was a substantial change in the sampling used in the 1992 survey compared to that of the 1989.

And that NYU economist Edward Wolff adjusted his own figures used for these computations in his work in progress reports because the SOI data failed to provide any independent corroboration and neither do his adjusted figures? So it is all uncorroborated theory.

Secondly the use of “Selected Historical and Other Data” by this economist could prove to be very misleading in order to obtain ones desired results when using differences in concept and measurement, trends in the size of distribution which gives his work in progress only rough approximation which is in no way factual in my opinion.

However if a government was to steal the wealth from one class of citizens and give to another how would this in any way shape or form produce more jobs or GDP in the economy based on capitalism, communism, socialism or Marxism?

It would not as once the redistribution was finished and the money runs out for redistribution to those who do not create jobs or produce goods the country would collapse and fail similar what happened in the former USSR. PeterClarke Oct 13, 2011

IMF warns Canadians household debt levels could slow spending more than expected

The International Monetary Fund is not in any position to be advising Canada or any other Country how to curb its debt and should be taken with a grain of salt by our government.

The IMF recently warned that its own emergency bail-out fund is inadequate to deliver the scale of the support required by troubled states. Because of its robust lending practices and near overextended bailing out and propping up failed governments policies around the globe.

They should better manage their internal economic affairs by tightening their own eligibility rules for lending loans and get their own corporation on more solid footing before telling others how to control their debt and economies.

Considering the financial needs of many vulnerable countries within the EU their banking effectiveness and lending capacity itself does not look good.

This International glorified banking institution has a very serious fund credibility problem as its own banking effectiveness as their lending capacity does not look that great considering the financing needs of vulnerable countries within the European Community.

Carney tells U.S. not to resist financial reform, dismisses critics

Obama and his administration along with the democrats controlled house and senate from 2005 until 2010 and with their social liberal comrades are directly responsible for the greatest financial domestic problem the United Stated has faced since the formation of the Republic.

Democrats and Obama, not you as individuals or families, but their political party is going to continue taking your taxes, spending on borrowed money and increasing an already overextended debt ceiling from Americans on behalf of what they and their special interest groups, unions and corporate lobbyists perceive and decide is for the common good and in your best interest using your tax dollars to pay off their loans.

Yet for the past 6 years when they had full control over both houses they did not live within the means of the American people and did not spent the citizen’s tax dollars in a thoughtful or prudent manner.

American voters cannot afford to be silent when taxes are being spent for programs and services based on progressive socialized totalitarian liberalism policies and all on borrowing money to be paid for on the backs of the next generation of youth and their children which in my opinion certainly count as fascism. As both are the so called political holy grail for progressive socialized totalitarian liberalism and their baby boomer feminists who hold the opinion that it is not the child who require liberating from the family but that mothers should be liberated from children and at the expense of others within the community.

The province's debt of $244 BILLION dollars for their unsustainable policies of progressive socialized totalitarian liberalism for the existing array of a proliferation of programs under his package of re election campaign promises, another word for propaganda, shall skyrocket the debt by an additional $2.5 Billion in spending on borrowed money.

McGuinty, not you as individuals or families, but their political party is going to continue taking your taxes and things away from us on behalf of what they say and decide is for the common good?

Yet for the past 8 years they have not lived within their means and have not spend our taxes in a thoughtful or prudent manner.

Obama warns of 'perilous path' for the nation if leaders don't join quickly to fix US economy

Obama’s Tax Plan Does Not Overcome Habitual Spending and Borrowing on the Backs of America’s next Generation of Youth but Engages the Politics of Class Warfare.

His 3 years of political rhetoric that "It's only right we ask everyone to pay their fair share," and "then I'm confident the American people will follow us. That's where they want to be," has taken his people not to prosperity but rather to the unemployment lines.

At present this fare tax share he refers too has 47% of Americans, of which 65% are blacks, not paying any federal income taxes at all!

Further " the tax system is highly progressive (as it's intended to be, and not regressive as Obama and Buffett want us to believe from their political analysis of Buffett’s employees' tax rates) and higher income groups pay taxes at a higher rate on average, as a share of their taxable income.

Those taxpayers in their "political super-rich" group (top 1%) pay federal taxes at the highest rate (23.3%) of any other income group. The bottom 50% of taxpayers with adjusted gross incomes of $33,000 or less, the average federal income tax rate for that group is only 2.6%."

Excluding deductions for union dues, just what percent of a person’s wages does Obama and his fellow democrats or republicans want to take out of the pockets of American workers, those that are left working, and for them falls within Obama’s definition of fair share? Is it 30%, 40%, 50% or 65% or more from every dollar earned THEY REQUIRED FOR CONTINUING THE POLICIES OF PROGRESSIVE SOCIALIZED LIBERALISM and supporting the 47% of Americans who pay NO Federal Income Taxes? peter clarke Tue Sep 20, 2011

Obama proposing $1.5 trillion in new taxes as part of $3 trillion long-term deficit package

According to Obama’s stimulus myth, based on the Keynesian economic theory, his government’s financed debt spending, and simultaneously monetizing such money by the Federal Reserve, and the putting such borrowed monopoly funds into people’s pockets the people would spend more spurring this false and temporary economy.

Unfortunately Obama and his junior administration overlooked the historical facts that government spending on borrowed and monetized money dampens and causes economic stagnation.

It further does not stimulate real economic growth as governments do not have some magic source of real money and thus cannot inject money it does not have into the economy without first taking it out of the economy via taxes and borrowing and simply results in increasing the overall debt.

Projected and actual USA government revenues and spending for the past 3 years and projected 10 years indicate that spending on an annual basis shall exceed revenues on an annualized basis for the next ten years by at least 1 Trillion dollars annually.

Thus over a ten year period the current debt of $14.5 Trillion shall have increased to $24.5 Trillion dollars in this ten year period from 2011.

Now enter Obama’s proposals and predictions that at the end of ten years the USA total projected deficit of $24.5 Trillion might be reduced in theory by a mere $3 Trillion dollars.

Leaving the total American debt in ten years at approximately $21.5 Trillion for a 155% increase over and above today’s 2011 debt of $14.5 and rising.

I guess this is what the republican policies of progressive socialized liberalism refer to as a deficit reduction plan by continuing to increase spending on borrowed money at the rate of $1 Trillion dollars annually resulting in a ten year down the road total deficit reduction of only $3 Trillion?

That is what you call made in America. Comment by PeterClarke Mon Sep 19, 2011

To reject the notion that the EU and the USA economies are not in the midst and beginning of a new recession and that Greece, then Spain will not default on their countries loan agreements in the near future at best is foolish and truly unrealistic to everyone except politicians and bankers who are attempting to hold on to power at the expense of citizens and customers.

With EU continuing to take on more debts of the governments from Greece, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal and England through its European Central Bank which has now agreed to co-ordinate and monetization of such loans with the U.S. Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, the Bank of Japan and the Swiss National Bank all are now fully far too over exposed and overextended to be in any position to recapitalize when the bond market takes a nosedive.

Quebec wants to collect the harmonized taxes and continue to charge its provincial sales tax on top of the federal tax which is a tax on tax and the federal government should have no part of such a taxpayers scam.

Time our federal government walked away from any harmonized tax deal with Quebec and collect the federal taxes directly without any assistance from the Quebec government and save Canadians $2.2 Billion and apply this amount to paying down our federal debt. Doer says facts, not politics, must determine U.S. Keystone decision
Unfortunately, the Obama administration has shown for the past two and a half years that it puts little if any emphasis on fact based decisions but rather all on party politics and recycled hype rhetoric of hope without any realistic changes because of its Marxist based policies.

And the so called green economy for energy efficiency of using battery powered cars to reduce the vehicle emissions that promote cleaner air will definitely be sneezed at when consumers come to realize that such very expensive batteries which have a lower capacity each time it is charged and a 3 to 5 year shelf life and then these batteries no longer can be recharged as a plug in but have to be replaced at a minimum cost per battery of $12,000.

Environmental groups and other who have and are violently protesting the proposed Trans Canada Keystone XL pipeline which would create up to or in excess of some 20,000 jobs are nothing more than professional malcontent political special interest groups and most likely unemployed and receiving taxpayer funded assistance for their lifestyles. GOP blocking Obama pick to head consumer protection agency, says bureau lacks accountability

And rightfully so as his administrations for over two years now has shown the American people that the dominant feature of his reformation of the American political system was, remains and is for the public ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange.

Look it up and you shall find that this policy is Marxism which failed in Russia and the former USSR satellite countries. Comment by peter clarke September 6, 2011

Now the question is will Bank of Canada move to cut interest rates further

In 1974 the Bretton Wood System of was officially abandoned and replaced with The Jamaica Agreement which basically allows the presence of any monetary exchange system a country chooses.

The J. A. agreement eliminated pegging the price of gold to the US dollar and accepted the concept theory of a managed float which in a free market system is false.

The value of the euro at the time of its introduction was based on economies of the original members of the EU and further was based on autonomous domestic economic policies which at this time are not the fact.

With the economies of EU member countries like Greece, France, Italy, Portugal , Spain, Ireland and even Germany that have enormous spending, borrowing and debt problems it remains my position that the euro’s current value is way overstated in terms of its true value against our dollar and that of the US.

And considering the existing Jamaica Agreement Canada and the US should peg the Euro at par to our Canadian dollar or the US dollar sooner rather than later. Comment by peter clarke September 6, 2011

Canadian dollar loses ground against U.S. counterpart as traders seek safety

In the real world and without money speculators on world currencies, and taking into account the ever increasing US borrowing for out of control spending which continues to increase its debt and increasing interest payments on the debt the value of the US dollars should be no greater than 75. cents to the Canadian dollar.

Canada and the US should immediately peg the value of the euro at par with that of the US and Canadian dollar. The current price of the euro is way over valued and it has no real natural resources to back its present overstated value. PeterClarke September 6, 2011

Now the question is will Bank of Canada move to cut interest rates further

The bank of Canada should increase interest rates not lower them and it should also peg the value of the euro to that of the Canadian dollar as the euro should be at par and no greater than par with either the US and Canadian dollar. Commented by PeterClarke September 6, 2011

Spanish Socialist candidate for PM pledges tax hikes for wealthy, banks if he wins election

Both Spain and Greece and a few other EU countries can trace their past and current financial economic crisis to their own government’s mismanagement of the people’s revenues for continued unsustainable social programs, early retirement pensions and a costly green economy.

Now we have the same socialist parties and their leaders, whom created instability in the banking system because of their country’s violation of the rules laid down at the creation of the Euro, calling for higher taxes on a banking system that is already under financial stress because of the previous disastrous political decisions which allowed and permitted unqualified borrowers to purchase loans from banks that they could not afford in the first place.

Such sociological phenomena is totalitarian in that socialism, fascism and Marxism views everything as political and holds that any economic action, including all aspects of an individual’s life, health and well being whether forced or through regulations, by the government is justified to achieve the common good and perfect world by rearranging the means of production of wealth for the masses.

History has shown that such ideologies and attitudes brought to power the likes of, Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Hitler, Mussolini, Francisco Franco, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. Commented by peter clarke September 5, 2011

Obama calls on Congress to pass transportation bill, says jobs are at stake

More recycled rhetoric of hype, hope but with no fundamental changes any unemployed or hoping to be employed American can relate too as his administrations failed policies and economic system of socialism of which the dominant feature is public ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange which is Marxism and failed before in Russia.

EU official: Debt inspectors left Greece amid disagreements over 2011, 2012 deficit figures

It is time to stop spending and borrowing money in the losing attempt to prop up, bail out or reverse the continued and past political economic policies of Greece and other EU countries that have and continue to violate the rules laid down at the creation of the euro.

If the European Union truly wishes to survive this financial crises which was caused by their own making, it must allow Greece and other bankrupt EU member countries to declare bankruptcy, leave them behind and move on without them as a member of the UE union.

Failure to do this just prolongs the inevitable and complete demise of the Euro and the EU union. Comment by PeterClarke Fri Sep 02, 2011 09:44 am

Dutch finance head: Germany, France bear responsibility in crisis by breaking debt rules in past

The Dutch finance minister has a valid point but defeats his position by asserting that the Netherlands shall continue to support the bailout packages even though they also violate the rules laid down at the creation of the euro.

Seems they all talk out of both sides of their mouths these career politicians and their respective unelected bureaucrats all of whom got the global economies into this financial crisis in the first place.

Instead of this new world order policy of being suspicious of anyone who is successful best they stop being “blame-passers" who never takes responsibility for their own mistakes and failures or come to grips with their personal refusals to be held accountable for their political decisions.

Truly a global monetary crisis caused by a political financial pyramid scheme which has resulted in crimes against humanity unmatched in the history of mankind. Comment by PeterClarke Thu Sep 01, 2011 10:40 am ED

Canadian economy shrinks in second quarter but growth expected to pick up
Career Politicians along with their unelected bureaucrats are the ones responsible for getting global economies in this financial mess in the first place.

These politicians and their respective political parties seem incapable of understanding the basic economic realities and fail to realize that Keynesian economics coupled with massive government debt was not part of the theory and does not work in the real world.

Canada’s combine debt of $1.791 Trillion for federal, provincial and municipal overspending and borrowing has resulted in every man, women and child owing $52,248 Thousand dollars of debt.

Until governments stop this nonsense of borrowing and spending for more hand outs, stimulus packages and unsustainable social service programs and bailing out companies and banks that should have declared bankruptcy this ongoing debt shall continue to be carried on the backs of our youth and their children’s children before they finish their schooling.

Truly a global monetary crisis caused by a political financial pyramid scheme orchestrated by career politicians and bureaucrats that has resulted in a crime against humanity unmatched in the history of mankind. Comment by PeterClarke Wed Aug 31, 2011 05:27 pm EDT

U.S. recession fears will likely outweigh Canadian banks, economic data this week

Facts are that emerging market countries with their lower debt levels have a faster economic growth than that of the USA and other such advanced nations.

With their smaller burden of debt these emerging market countries shall continue to assist their group growth rate at between 5 to 7 per cent topping the 1 to 2 per cent economic expansion of US and other advanced nations with their exceedingly high debts and political uncontrolled spending and borrowing practices.

There is no way that the US government by monetizing its debt and failure to reduce spending, failure to lower its credit and thus debt but continues increasing its debt, spending and borrowing, should be considered as a safe investment or worthy of an A credit rating.

The US credit rating at best is not better than a Baa or BBB if we are to be transparent, accountable and honest with investors and the voters.

Thus the long term valuations and economic prospects for the USA and Canada, with outrageously high debt, borrowing and spending records, shall remain much weaker for many years to come than those of the emerging markets with lower debts, borrowing and spending. PeterClarke August 21, 2011

Report: Justice Department investigating Standard and Poor's mortgage securities ratings

The USA Justice Department and the current administration should be investigated themselves for conflicts of interest with the Federal Reserve and possible wrongdoings and illegal activities for political reasons at the expense of the American people, its businesses and economic decline based on political interference with free market system. AP source: Obama to give major speech in early Sept. to unveil ideas for jobs, growth.

This is leadership?

Obama and his administration have shown that they prefer to play politics with America's unemployed with his continued pushing for more handouts and at the same time putting in place more restrictions and regulations on American businesses.

His administrations unending push and support for the failed Marxist and Keynesian economic theories and then being a “blame-passer" by his personal refusal takes responsibility and be held accountable for his lack of actions and postponed decisions for his political re-election reasons is the transformation of hope and change that he continues to preach and campaign for while America sinks further and further into debt.
